ଆଦିକବି ସାରଳା ଦାସAdikabi Sarala Das

ପନ୍ଦର ଶତାବ୍ଦୀରେ ଜନ୍ମିତ ସାରଳା ଦାସ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସାହିତ୍ୟର ପ୍ରଥମ କବି। ତାଙ୍କ ମହାଭାରତ, ବିଳଙ୍କା ରାମାୟଣ ଓ ଚଣ୍ଡୀ ପୁରାଣ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷା ସାହିତ୍ୟର ମୂଳଦୁଆ। ସେ ଆଦିକବି (ପ୍ରଥମ କବି) ଓ ଶୂଦ୍ର ମୁନି ଉପାଧିରେ ସମ୍ମାନିତ। ତାଙ୍କ ରଚନାରେ ସାମାଜିକ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା, ଧାର୍ମିକ ଦର୍ଶନ ଓ ଲୋକକଥାର ଅପୂର୍ବ ମିଶ୍ରଣ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳେ।Born in the 15th century, Sarala Das is the first poet of Odia literature. His Mahabharata, Bilanka Ramayana, and Chandi Purana form the foundation of Odia literary tradition. He is honored with the titles Adikabi (First Poet) and Shudra Muni. His works blend social commentary, religious philosophy, and folklore beautifully.

ସତର ଶତାବ୍ଦୀର ଏହି ମହାନ କବି ଘୁମୁସର ରାଜବଂଶର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ ବୈଦେହୀ ବିଳାସ, ରସିକ ହାରବଲ୍ଲଭ ଓ କୋଟି ବ୍ରହ୍ମାଣ୍ଡ ସୁନ୍ଦରୀ ଓଡ଼ିଆ କାବ୍ୟ ସାହିତ୍ୟର ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ନିଦର୍ଶନ। ତାଙ୍କ କବିତାରେ ଅଳଙ୍କାର, ରସ ଓ ଭାଷାର ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ ଖେଳ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳେ। କବି ସମ୍ରାଟ ଉପାଧି ତାଙ୍କୁ ମିଳିଛି।This great 17th-century poet was a king of the Ghumusar dynasty. His masterpieces Baidehisha Bilasha, Rasika Haravallabha, and Koti Brahmanda Sundari are the finest examples of Odia epic poetry. His poetry showcases a magical play of figures of speech, emotions, and language. He earned the title Kabi Samrat (Emperor of Poets).

କବିବର ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେରKabibara Gangadhar Meher

ଊନବିଂଶ ଶତାବ୍ଦୀର ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେରଙ୍କୁ କବିବର କୁହାଯାଏ। ତାଙ୍କ ତପସ୍ୱୀ ତରୁଣୀ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସାହିତ୍ୟର ସର୍ବଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ କାବ୍ୟଗୁଡିକ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅନ୍ୟତମ। ପ୍ରକୃତିର ସୁନ୍ଦର ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା ପାଇଁ ସେ ପ୍ରକୃତି କବି ଭାବରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପରିଚିତ। ତାଙ୍କ କବିତାରେ ସାମାଜିକ ସଚେତନତା, ନାରୀ ସଶକ୍ତିକରଣ ଓ ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକତାର ଗଭୀର ପ୍ରଭାବ ରହିଛି।Gangadhar Meher of the 19th century is called Kabibara (Supreme Poet). His Tapaswini Taruni is among the greatest works in Odia literature. Known as Prakriti Kabi (Nature Poet) for his beautiful descriptions of nature, his poetry carries deep influence of social consciousness, women’s empowerment, and spirituality.

ବିଂଶ ଶତାବ୍ଦୀରେ ସଚ୍ଚିଦାନନ୍ଦ ରାଉତରାୟ, ମାୟାଧର ମାନସିଂହ, ରାମକୃଷ୍ଣ ନନ୍ଦ ଙ୍କ ପରି କବି ଓଡ଼ିଆ କବିତାକୁ ନୂଆ ଦିଗ ଦେଖାଇଲେ। ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମ, ସାମାଜିକ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ, ପ୍ରେମ ଓ ଅସ୍ତିତ୍ୱବାଦ ସବୁ ବିଷୟ ଆଧୁନିକ କବିତାରେ ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଲା। ଆଜିର ଓଡ଼ିଆ କବିତା ଗତିଶୀଳ, ବିବିଧ ଓ ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ।In the 20th century, poets like Sachchidananda Routray, Mayadhar Mansingh, and Ramakrishna Nanda gave new direction to Odia poetry. The freedom struggle, social injustice, love, and existentialism all found expression in modern poetry. Today’s Odia poetry is dynamic, diverse, and deeply sensitive.
