ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରଠାରୁ ୮ କି.ମି ଦୂରରେ ଧବଳେଶ୍ୱର ପହାଡ଼ — ଯେଉଁଠାରେ କଳିଙ୍ଗ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇଥିଲା ଓ ଅଶୋକ ବୌଦ୍ଧ ଧର୍ମ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ଆଜି ଏଠାରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ସ୍ତୂପ, ବୁଦ୍ଧ ପାର୍କ ଓ ଶିଳାଲେଖ ଅଛି।The Dhauli hills, 8 km from Bhubaneswar — where the Kalinga War was fought and Emperor Ashoka embraced Buddhism. Today it houses the Shanti Stupa, Buddha Park, and ancient rock edicts.

ଶିଳାଲେଖRock Edicts
ଧବଳେଶ୍ୱରର ରକ୍ତ-କ୍ଷୟ ରୋକ ଶିଳାଲେଖ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମୀ ଲିପିରେ ଲିଖିତ। ଏଥିରୁ ଜଣାଯାଏ ଅଶୋକ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ପରେ ଅହିଂସା ବାଛିଥିଲେ ଓ ଧର୍ମ ପ୍ରସାରରେ ଲାଗିଥିଲେ।Dhauli’s rock edicts, written in Brahmi script, reveal how Ashoka chose non-violence after the war and dedicated himself to spreading Dhamma (righteousness).
ଶାନ୍ତି ସ୍ତୂପShanti Stupa
ଜାପାନ ବୌଦ୍ଧ ସଂଘ ନିର୍ମିତ ସଫେଦ ଗମ୍ବୁଜ, ବୁଦ୍ଧ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଓ ଶାନ୍ତିର ପରିବେଶ। ସୂର୍ୟାସ୍ତମୟ ମନ୍ଦିର ପରିସର — ଧ୍ୟାନ, ଧ୍ୟାନ ଓ ବିଚାର ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ତମ।A white-domed stupa built by the Japanese Buddhist Sangha, featuring Buddha statues and an atmosphere of peace. The sunset view from the temple premises is ideal for meditation and reflection.
